MORE FROM EXISTING SPACE

Parking below.
Power above.

A solar canopy pairs on-site generation with a place to park.

01

Covered parking

Add shade for the people and vehicles using your property.

02

A separate structure

Support solar above the parking area without mounting the array on your building’s roof.

03

Use existing space

Generate electricity over parking rather than dedicating a separate open area to a ground-mounted array.

04

Plan for EV charging

Consider charging locations, conduit, and electrical capacity during design. Chargers and upgrades are separate project items.

The right layout must account for vehicle clearance, accessible routes, drainage, foundations, and everyday operations.

BUILT AROUND YOUR PROPERTY

Choose your industry.

Explore solar carports for properties with surface parking and electricity demand.

Own the property or help make decisions about it? Start with the location, parking area, and 12 months of electricity usage. If you rent, owner approval will be part of the conversation.

HOW IT WORKS

Start with the numbers.

A free feasibility analysis helps you decide whether a solar carport makes sense for your property.

01

Share your usage

Start with an inquiry. We’ll ask for your property address and 12 months of electricity usage.

02

Review your free analysis

See the proposed layout, system size, and estimated savings—including program payments and remaining utility charges.

03

Decide if it works

Review the agreement before moving forward. Installation and maintenance are included for qualifying projects.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

Your questions,
answered.

Is there an upfront cost?

Qualifying properties can receive a solar carport with no upfront capital expense. You purchase the electricity generated under a long-term agreement. Eligibility and pricing are confirmed in your property review and final agreement.

Will I still have a utility bill?

Yes, remaining utility charges can still apply. Your free analysis compares program payments plus remaining utility charges with your current electricity costs. Estimated savings depend on your property and are not guaranteed.

Who handles installation and maintenance?

Carport Energy Group coordinates your project with TopVolt, our installation partner. Installation and maintenance are included for qualifying projects, with scope and responsibilities defined in your agreement.

How do I get started?
